Welcome to Bridge The Gap Nepal (BTGN).

BTGN is a leading not-for-profit organisation, officially registered in Australia. It is committed to recognise and address the needs and concerns of the disadvantaged communities. It provides a trusted platform for all people; in Australia, in Nepal, and around the world, to foster community programs that aim to recognise and address social, economic and cultural disadvantages faced by Nepali people in Australia and Nepal. It is a responsible and responsive organisation, distinguished by accountability of its programs and commitment of its members, determined for social impact. Together, these commitments translate our agenda of ‘Striving for Equitable Community’.

BTGN provides you an opportunity to be part of a rewarding experience of working together and helping those in need. You will have a tailored opportunity to address the root causes of socio-economic inequalities and disadvantage in Nepali communities, thereby fostering a more ‘just society’. Its strategies are to work with, and provide support for, disadvantaged communities to recognise their own problems, and explore opportunities and resources to solve them.

BTGN’s conviction is to consider external support as the trigger where self-recognition of problems and committed collective actions are the key driver for a prosperous and meaningful life. Transformational life occurs when people of diverse capacity and conditions are enabled to engage deeply with the change process itself.

We encourage you to explore the BTGN website and find out more about what we do. We look forward to sharing a journey with you and striving for the equitable community in Australia, Nepal and globally.

President, BTGN
